Sam had gotten Gryffindor.
With the way the Sorting Hat had been brainstorming on his head, he was almost sure that he'd be placed in Ravenclaw. Hence, the look of (excited) shock was still present on the eleven-year-old's face when he approached his new house table.
He was grinning and looking around at his new housemates as he looked for a place to sit.
