It was becoming increasingly difficult to tune out his peers though, and so Candice's question pulled him from his thoughts and his silent searching once again. Lost something? "Not quite... I lost someone," he replied with an expression that appeared pained. Seriously, why were girls so much work? Candice, WHY?! But on another note, "Congrats by the way... the badge suits you."
One girl that wasn't work though, or at least... no... no she wasn't work, she was all fun and games--- Zeke tilted his head to the side, fixing Amur with a casual stare as she nudged him. He nudged her back. "Lizards? No... maybe dragon's though..." he was funny, right? All sorts of hilarious right now. Just as he sat his bum down on the bench, he had to double take at the older lion. The one with the COOL name. Yea, that dude was awesome. CHECKIT. He got one of those nods all the older students did to one another.
CLassyyyyy. Quote:

Blaise smiled back (because Lance was smiling at him too RIGHT?). "You look like you wanna do something hilarious later." Even if he didn't. He was in attempt of doing a 'bro-nod' back to Zeke, but something kinda sorta totally blocked his vision? Which would've been fine, except notepads and quills were very much his enemy. Definitely too early in the term to be having a brain of mush, but he'd let it slide, seeing as who it belonged to. "Wait... what?" he leaned closer, lowering his voice, TOTALLY curious. "Did you have a plan or something?"
Because he certainly didn't. Quote:

Aw yes, smile number THREE!

Speaking of more smiles, he got smile number four from another one of the older students he'd seen around. Dang, this was like, a world record or something. He was feeling gooooood tonight. And starving. Definitely starving.
He gave one of those nods that he'd seen Zeke do in return. And a little wave, for extra measure, since she was older.
Super classy.

As they made their way towards the correct table, the Welsh Lion's eyes searched for her best friend Lance. She had lost him on the train and was happy to see that he was at the table already with two sets next to him.
Perfect.
Slipping her hand into AJ's without thinking, Marsha tugged the brunette after her as she walked quickly towards Lance so that no-one else would steal the seats from them. Smiling at faces she recognised as she moved, she finally managed to PLOP down next to Lance, pulling AJ into the seat next to her. There.
… But she didn’t let go of AJ’s hand as she bumped her shoulder against Lance’s. ”Hey there.” Grinning wide, she got ready to watch the new group of students getting sorted. And obviously she would clap and whoop for all new Gryffindors… maybe she would realise she needed to let go of AJ’s hand then? The young lion's legs were just about ready to make him stand up after he'd noticed some pretty awesome looking crowns being given out a little way down the Gryffindor table. Classy people needed crowns, for sure. That was a thing. The kinds and queens had them so... obviously he needed one.
Plus, they were cool.
But just as he was going to stand up, there were people plopping down next to him. Oomph whyyy. "Oh! Hey Marsha. Hey AJ," he grinned at the two of them, slowly settling himself back down and glancing towards the crowns. Nah, he could wait. "Where'd you go on the train? Totally lost you." |
