"I'm Ava, by the way. And I'm a second year." BEAM.
SEE!! Trixie knew that Gryffindor was the best house and now she had it confirmed from another student. "Wow!!" Gryffindor had won the House Cup last year. Thank Merlin the sorting hat had put her in this house. "That is so totally cool. Is it true that you get a year's supply of chocolate frogs for earning the most points?" She looked expectantly at the girl.

"Nice to meet you Ava." Trixie beamed back at the girl, she could already tell they were going to be friends.

Looking for his girlfriend? Oh right, Maggie, right. Blaise nodded, willing to help him look in exchange for knowledge on how to get a dragon in his shoe without the use of magic. Zeke was smart, see, and would obviously figure a way around that dumb little prerequisite, much like he was sure Amur could too--'cause she'd just offered...even if her offer was under the condition of magic. They'd work something out.

For now, both were positively onboard with whatever he was about to say and he was holding them to that even if they WERE older kids and technically no fun.

Both had proven otherwise at some point. Blaise was practically on the table just to lean in close enough to them because what he had to say wasn't for everyone's ears. "We're gonna teach the Prefects a lesson. Head Boy included, Head Girl too if you've got a clean shot. They were awful rotten to my cousin 'cause they got badges this year and we wanna remind them different." He glanced across the room at the other prefects and the others who'd agreed. "Nothing serious, just a one sided food fight."

Oh hey, another one of them for Gryffindor! Blaise was clapping and cheering as she'd made her way down to the table from the stool up on the dais--as he did with all sortees because this was pretty exciting stuff. You had to be real special to end up in Gryffindor and so he would keep saying no matter what anyone else had to say.

The boy was about to greet her but she beat him to the punch so he simply grinned his dimpled grin. "Hiya! You've gotten sorted at just the right time for initiation."

First initiation ever? An initiation that didn't even exist. Who cared. This was gonna be epic.

Super secret only the cool kids knew about? "You might say that." He conceded. It was true enough because the dumb older kids were most certainly NOT let in on this for one reason or another. Merlin knew half of them were snitches and the other half might just think it was their right to stop them.

The young Gryffindor looked around before giving her a conspiratory look, a glint of mischief in his eyes. "What'd ya say to a little food fight? One sided, against the Prefects--Head Boy and Head Girl too if you've got a good enough shot, just to teach them a little lesson in treating us younger kids better than they have."

Because no one was rude to his cousin and got away with it. He was small and didn't know magic but that didn't mean he'd just sit back, not when payback could be so much brilliant fun.

THANK MERLIN! There was a noticeably relieved look on his face when the newly badged Prefect decided to sit just a little further down. If she was down there, maybe Bentley would even forget to tie her feet together to prevent retaliation. The point was to keep her out of the war. She was welcome.

"No problem at all. Gotta keep our head safe." He said with a wide grin, proud of his efforts. "Now all we need is food and everything will be perfect." Because he was hungry and by the sounds of it, Yoongi wouldn't be sneaking him any food.

And there was his cousin now!

Blaise glanced down at him, happy to see him already in position to get this thing underway. He bent himself a little and pretended to brush at his pants while he spoke in hushes tones. "Hurry up and get their feet tied before they notice you're under there. We can sneak off to tie the others after."

Other tables to hit, real men business, the usual for these two. Mhm.

"Did you get more people from the other houses yet?"

To say he was disappointed in the Head Boy's response would have been a gross understatement. "It's never just a few minutes. The Professor have to talk for ages first then the Headmistress is gonna have to give a speech. You should know that." Was food really that big of a request? Was a little pumpkin juice? Some iced tea?

He was practically begging him through large, brown eyes but it had little effect. It was just as well he supposed, they were already probably exempting Candice from the attack later, no need to get Yoongi on the good list too otherwise they'd only have one target left.

Bummer.

"I guess it's a nice look while it lasts." The clean one he meant.

It wasn't hard to know when Charlotte got to the table, nah. She was a presence in herself that girl for better or for worse.

"Enjoying the sorting?" Clearly. Maybe she had people she was waiting for. He sorta did too 'cause Liv hadn't come down yet. Better not be Slytherin.

"Wanna do something fun later?"

Trixie had never been one to be nervous about anything, she took everything in her stride but she would be lying if she had said that she wasn't just a little apprehensive about coming to Hogwarts. She'd never had problems making friends but this was a new place and all.

Of course she had absolutely nothing to worry about. Everyone at the Gryffindor table was so nice. So nice in fact, that an older boy was greeting her and asking her to be apart of an initiation.

"Really?" Trixie clapped her hand together in excitement. "What do I have to do?"

SPOILER!!: Tenacius

Then he heard the unmistakable voice of his childhood bestie "Ugo you're here too! AAAAHH!!" he pumped his bestie's shoulders excitedly. "Ace and Spades together again!" he laughed. He plopped himself onto the nearest seat, hand clasped over his chest as he can feel his heart beating wildly. "Man so that was Sorting! What an experience."

He waved both his hands beaming gleefully at all the Lions around him "Hi everybody hi!!"

Teehee.

Gryffindors were a rowdy lot. It was really quite infectious and Trixie found herself bouncing in her seat and she when she noticed another firstie walking down the table, high fiving people as he went well Trixie immediately held up her hand for one of those high fives.

"HELLO!" She called back to him, giving him an enthusiastic wave.
