Well THAT was the question now, wasn't it? And Maggie wasn't sure how to explain just why Paige's questions had bothered her so much. She sighed, then rubbed her forehead with her hand for a moment before placing it on top of Zeke's again. "Because..." Before she got the chance to elaborate, he said something else, however. Something that made her look up at him again. "No." Maggie replied without missing a beat. "Just the things she said..." They had made her...well, sad mostly really.

But she didn't really want to get into that right here, right now.

Noel though had apparently caught on to the fact that his appearance WAS in fact bad timing. She gave him a genuine sort of half-smile when he dismissed himself. "I'll come find you later..." Maggie said, though she wasn't sure he'd heard her. Her eyes followed the Hufflepuff for a few seconds after he'd turned around.

"I should...go too." Her voice lacked any sort of indication as to how she felt about that. As did her face when she looked back at Zeke again, it was just blank. Despite her announcement Maggie didn't really move yet though. "I just wanted to say sorry. And..." And what? "...and see how you were doing." She ended up saying. Yes. That.

Sounded good, no?
