Floating calmly along, the Fat Friar hummed to himself a cheerful tune. It was the feast, something he looked forward to all summer. He couldn't wait to greet the new Hufflepuffs, and other students as well! He hoped this new batch were up to the task of being the best badgers they could be.

He stopped near the new prefect, Henric. "Good evening, Henric! Congratulations on the badge. I know you'll be great." He smiled serenely and glanced at the other students. "Hello everyone! Welcome to Hufflepuff!"

They all looked so cheerful and happy; well, most of them did.

It seemed one of the younger badgers was a trouble maker. He would keep an eye on that.
