Esme hadn't really wanted sweets from the train and she had eaten her sandwiches earlier on in the day, so she was rather hungry. At least she had managed to find her sister and hopefully they wouldn't lose each other again tonight. Probably not, but it was a huge castle. At least they shared a dormitory.

Reaching the Hufflepuff table, she smiled and waved to her fellow Badgers. It was so good to be home again! Esme missed her house and parents already - she even missed stupid River - but it was good to be here.

"Hey!" The Scottish boy smiled. Did she ever introduce herself to him at the book shop in Diagon Alley? She must have. Brady sat there quietly for a few moments. Her name started with an "E" He knew that! It was a strange name. Well maybe it wasn't very strange but it was strange to him. He hadn't really heard a name like that before.

"You're Esme! Book shop girl!" Bradson wanted to call her book shop girl from this day forward. It would help remember her name a lot easier. Nicknames were good thought! Maybe not all nicknames, he didn't like being called Brad, he felt like it sounded too snobbish and he wasn't about snobbish.

Bradson has given a nickname to the Prefect guy and to Esme. Did she need a unique nickname from him? Train girl wouldn't be that good so he would just have to think of one later on. "I am in Hufflepuff! I take it you are too?" The Scottish boy questioned. So they were allowed to visit other house tables? That was cool. Maybe he would do that or wait until next year to do that so he would be able to get to know some people first.
