The new year started off with a behind-the-scenes look at the filming of a scene for
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, courtesy of one of the Pottermore correspondents who was there for take part as an extra for the feature.

• The scene, shot sometime last November, took place in a 1926 New York City diner, and involved Colin Farrell and Ezra Miller's characters Graves and Credence, respectively. There was a note that the grounds were muddy.
• The correspondent stated she played a journalist in the movie, one sitting at a diner booth and watching the scene with Graves and Credence, directed by David Yates, unfold.
• Oscar-winning costume designer Colleen Atwood painstakingly goes through everyone's costume, from top cast to extras, to make sure they look the part of a 1920s character.
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, written by Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling and starring Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander, hits theaters and IMAX this November.
