She hurriedly wiped at her eyes with the back of her hands and sniffed a little.
"Yeah, I'm fine..Thanks." She tugged at her hair nervously and bit her lip a little.. "Sorry.. I'm just.. a little scared." Her voice was a whisper.. as she looked up at the taller Boy.
He gave her a kind smile when she recognized him. Merlin, thank you that he had gotten her name right! At least she wasn't staring at him like he was some kind of wonky person who she had no idea who he was! Or offended that he'd got her name wrong completely. He definitely knew she was crying now, her violet eyes filled with tears.
"Aww, I promise you'll have fun, there's nothing to be afraid of" he said shaking his head "Let's find a spot to sit, I saw a mostly empty car just a few down that way" he said nodding towards where he'd just been. "If you don't mind sitting with me that is." he added gently. He didn't want her to be afraid of him...maybe Jay would come sit with them or...even someone her age?
