Cornelius beamed at the sight of Mustard. He was there and--OH. Someone came in like the flash. Glancing at the new person then back at the girl with his lizard, Cornelius resumed his beaming.
"You found Mustard! Where was he? No one stepped on him, did they? Is he alright?" He had a first aid-kit in his trunk just in case. His mum had packed it for him while Cornelius had packed it for Mustard.
Watching the girl who had his lizard he couldn't help notice how her beam almost disappeared. He didn't mean to eavesdrop. It's just...he was standing right there and he wasn't deaf. Still, he focused mostly on Mustard, who seemed to enjoy being petted.
"Hey, Marsha and"--Mel...Melon--"Mel...on? That's a cool nickname. Melon is delicious." The fruit. "I'm Cornelius Orion Baltazar and that on your hand, that's Mustard my lizard."
