He glanced out at the herd of students passing by the compartment and sighed before petting the cat. "This is going to be a long day, Kamja."

Quinn dragged his things along behind him on the train, turning his head left and right for an empty compartment. He sighed at the sight of all the packed compartments, shaking his head. If only his mother hadn't engulfed him in that huge hug that seemed to last forever, he would have had his own compartment all to himself, he was sure.

He found himself in the back compartments, and he spotted one with just one boy sitting inside. The boy looked around his age, so Quinn slid open the door and smiled. "Hey, mind if I join you?" He asked.
