Somehow Maggie had managed have her friend date a Prefect (because that was obviously all her doing) but not herself. She was still dating Zeke who was...well, not a Prefect. Somewhere she'd taken a wrong turn it seemed. How had this happened? Maybe there'd been a mix-up with the badges. Maybe Zeke was supposed to get it but it had accidentally gone to Frankie. Mhm.

This got her thinking though..."Do you know who else is Prefect now?" She could only assume it was none of her closest friends because they would've hopefully informed her of their new badges. So, clearly, they hadn't been given to the most awesome people in existence if none of them were her friends.
