Jasper laughed as she spoke, before shaking his head. "You'd be fine," he told her, hoping that was true. "Besides, people fall over all the time, no one would really notice." That, he knew from experience, was mostly true. They glanced, lost interest and looked away again.

Half of him, now on this topic and with his brain kicking into gear with those thoughts, wanted to pull out his sketchbook and get lost in all the possibilities once more. But he controlled himself. He laughed at her increased enthusiasm about Muggle history. "I wouldn't know where to start," he answered truthfully. Ancient history or modern? English history or Australian or Asian? There were too many options.

Jasper nodded, respecting that she'd want to know whether or not she'd be happy. But then again, seeing the future had so many flaws in that idea! The idea that their futures were set was one he didn't agree with. It bugged him. But he also saw how in knowing the future, a person could try to avoid it and end up causing it to happen anyway.

"I like to think it isn't all set out yet..." though honestly he'd like to know whether he'd be happy or not too.

He'd find out one day though.

The future was something that you couldn't run from.
