It wasn't quite a frown etched on the observer's face, but it wasn't exactly pleasure, either. It was more of a quiet disdain that his assumptions had been proven true. Too much joviality, not enough sincerity, and a fair dose of insensitivity. The money would be put to good use, but it wasn't enough. Not nearly enough. Pushing away from the wall he leaned on, the man made his way back to the visitor's entrance.

He had seen enough.

Yes, because they were starting to close up and as much as Tala wanted to keep her fiancé by her side, he was a distraction that needed to slip away while she tried to sell off more of these buttons. "You'll hear all about it." She said, with a soft laugh. It wasn't exactly a promise, promises were light and sweet and lead to good things and Tala wasn't sure this would lead to a good thing.

"Okay, babe. I'll see you." She paused, brain working quickly as she considered something before simply blowing a kiss at him. The real thing would have to wait until they got home. Turning her attention to Addi, Tala nodded, grinning at the brunette. "I'll be up soon, don't wait up!" Tala said, grabbing up the donations and beginning the process of closing down the booth.

It hadn't gone perfectly, and Tala felt a little like she hadn't done as much as she could have... But for now it was a good step forward and that was the important thing.
