For what must have felt like hours but was probably barely only a minute or so there was silence. Not that comfortable silence Hady was used to or even the kind that she liked. No. This was the silence that told you nothing good was coming. It was awkward and just all types of weird and quite frankly she didn't like it one bit. It was even worse then when they had banged into each other in the corridor inside Hogwarts and she was knocked on her bum.
She wasn't expecting him to speak honestly. In fact she wouldn't have blamed him at all if he hadn't. So when she heard his voice she didn't know what to say. Frankie clearly was sort of trying here so something had to be said in return. Knowing that anything she said wouldn't make much of a difference anyhow Hady slowly lifted her head and turned her hazel eyes upon him. "So?..," she whispered softly in reply. Gosh this was bad.
Inhaling slowly she tried again. Getting words to form in a situation such as this where one just wanted to run away and hide wasn't easy. She was Hady though and Hady didn't run away. "So um..." And she was failing again. Failing wasn't her thing either. Looking away she took another breath and gave this talking thing yet another try all the while twisting her butterfly ring around her finger. "Frankie I don't know about you but this wasn't what I planned for happening today. I'm sorry your day got messed up on account of whatever this was supposed to be... but I really don't feel up to sitting here and talking now. I think I'll just head back..." Words had finally fallen from her mouth and she really hoped they came out correctly. What she didn't need now was for him to take her words wrong and think that she blamed him or anything. All she knew was she needed to go and every second longer she remained here keeping her cool got all that much more harder.
Hady silently slipped off the stool she had been sat on and slipped her coat on closing up the buttons. "See you around.." she whispered glancing once over her shoulder at him as she made way for the door. Maybe. Probably. This was all just so bad.
