Tala was sure the older woman was busy and she didn't mind her not coming by yet. "How are youuuuu?" She asked, trying not to glance down at her fairly flat stomach because that would be weird.

As soon as she was sat and settled, January started digging into her piece of fish, which... was... not very good. Had they changed the recipe? Merlin, it tasted... off. Her face turned unpleasant, and it stayed that way when Tala mentioned a rude reporter had showed up to her event that she had worked so hard on. "You're kidding. What happened?" Pushing her fish to the side of her plate, January promised in her head that she would go visit the booth after her lunch break. She would feel bad if she didn't support Tala in her event.

"Oh, I'm fine," she replied after finishing a bite of broccoli. "Had a bit of a rough morning, but that's sort of becoming routine now..." Morning sickness was awful, but she was starting to get used to it. "How have you been?"
