No, she wasn't saving the seat for anyone; actually she more than was welcoming for the younger boy because it meant less chance of having to say goodbye to those who she would never see again. Goodbyes were difficult, so sometimes just never having to face that was easier.

"Not at all," Tia smiled warmly at the boy. He seemed familiar enough. Before she had a moment to introduce herself, another boy entered - also younger than her. Yes, she definitely recalled seeing him before and even from dueling club. She heard he did quite well for his year too. "Hi Colt. Nope, you're welcome here. Plenty of room. I think I recall you from dueling club as being quite the skilled dueler for your year."

"I'm Tia, by the way," she told both younger boys.
