Truthfully she didn't mind being alone. It might be easier than facing the goodbyes. Just herself and her memories. Henry had hoped to sit with Remy or Owen on the train ride home, or even Teddy or Ava, but he hadn't seen any of them since they left the castle. He had hoped that he might find one of them on the train, but so far no luck.
The 12 year old knew figured that the train would be leaving soon, plus he was getting tired of lugging his trunk along behind him, so he thought he should find a compartment soon, then maybe he could find his friends later. A cursory glance into the next compartment told him it was empty so he opened up the door and pulled his things inside.
It was only when he sat down did he realize that the compartment wasn't empty at all. There was an older, teenage girl sitting on the seat across from him. Huh. Guess he hadn't looked that closely. "Oh! Sorry.." he started, once he realized he wasn't alone. "Was this seat being saved?" He needed a place to sit too, but sometimes teenagers had their own friends they wanted to sit with and not younger kids, so he was making sure.
