It wasn't like he could join an extensive productive for the few months that they were out of school. Hogwarts was really bogging down on his career choice. "Acting classes?" That caught Davie's attention, for sure. His dad had been an actor, at one point, amongst the man other things he had done. "Where do you take acting classes?" Rooney just got a whole lot more interesting, because he was an actor??!??!!? Cool. Quote:

Upon arriving, he found a rather glum looking Rooney with a discarded plate. With a frown, Sabel moved over and nudged the kid gently. "Good job in the dueling club, Bronwyn. I'm sure you'll be a force to be reckoned with. Just keep practicing."
There was a Truebridge that caught his eye across the table, and Sabel hesitated a moment before letting out a breath. Moving about to the kid, Sabel casually reached over his shoulder and snagged a small bun. The motion allowed him to lean in close enough to whisper confidentially in his ear so that no one else could hear. "If you're still curious about that memory, talk to Sander." Pulling back, he gave the kid an elbow bump. "Congratulations on reining victorious."
Now, where were......AH HA. There they were.
Stuffing the bun uncerimoniously in his mouth, Sabel chewed on it as he made his way over to the Rider and the Shacklebolt. Stuffing one hand in each pocket, he pulled out two letters, flipped them both about and then handed them to the kids. "As promised."
They could read them when they pleased, or not read them at all. "If you would like to hand them in yourselves, you are more than welcome. However, if you would like me to deliver them personally, then I will do so."
There was no smile for either of them. They both knew how grave of a matter he viewed this as, but that didn't mean he didn't understand. Didn't support them in it. "If you two need anything, you let your co-workers know. You let your Department Head know. You let me know. You got it?" Wait, what?! Davie hadn't even seen the sneaky DADA professor pop up over his shoulder. His mouth fell open a little bit at the mention of his weird second cousin or whatever... Sander? Sander Bunbury?! SANDER had something to do with that memory?!! Davie was 100% GONNA INVESTIGATE THAT!
Gaping mouth spreading into a grin, Davie hinged in his seat and beamed at the professor. "Thanks, sir! I also wanted to say thanks for running the dueling club. It was a lot of fun. I hope we get to do it again next term." Or even if he didn't duel, he could at least watch some of them!
