One for her, and one for Iwin. The twins were too young for sharp buttons.

She picked up one of the pamphlets on the table and handed it to the reporter. "And the booth itself, fundraising, is reminding the people who come through this Atrium that we serve and support the needs of werewolves, regardless of what department we work in." She smiled at Tala, hoping that her interjection was alright.

Her attention was caught by Lynley, though, who was... giggling. That seemed terribly unlike the woman and Emmalee wasn't exactly sure how to take that. Puzzling over that conundrum for a moment, she kept her colleague in the corner of her eye as she turned her attention back to Tala.

"Thank you for all your work on this. It's important." And it was something she was more than happy to support. Indeed, she thought the little partnership her department and Creatures had dreamed up would be excellent, as well.

Tala's attention was once again torn from Lynley as a man who looked... Vaguely familiar walked up and asked a question that caused the lanky creature to pause in her reply. Is that really helping awareness? It felt... loaded, patronizing, and she didn't like it, but before she could answer someone else did.

Emmalee Howell.

Tala gave the older women a bright smile, she had never been so pleased to see her, and the pleasure only grew as the red head went on to speak with the man. it... felt like vindication, because this wasn't just about Tala's own problems, it was about the werewolf community as a whole and.... Having a witch with no distinct personal ties to the subject show up and talk about the issue with such clarity and understanding, it made a huge difference. Not just to others, but to Taladona herself.

"Support, and awareness is brought up and spread in many ways. Sometimes through talking, sometimes through a pamphlet... But one of the best ways is through a... Visual cue. It's also a symbol to my community that we're not just in this ourselves." That had been a hard thing to say to a total stranger, my community, but Tala didn't let it show, she stood tall, shoulders back, lips set into a small smile.

What did you say when someone thanked you for doing something like this? "No, no, thank you. I really appreciate your support and help with this." She meant it. Tala handed over the two buttons. "It'll be fourteen sickles, Mrs. Howell."

I think I might be coming down with something..." she shrugged a little and eyed the man nearing them...

And she had no idea who he was.

Lynley thought it was a result of her recent...forgetfulness, which had happened every so often lately, and decided she wouldn't question him...or anyone...on WHO this man was, but she remained silent, scooting the buttons she had purchased into her bag, all but one, which she then pinned to her shirt.

And then...glared at the man.

"Who do you think you are?" she asked bluntly, her brown eyes unforgiving. "Are you aware of how silly and foolish you sound right now? There, look, you're aware now.. See how it easy it is?" she smirked a little and thought...well, Emmalee Howell was a mature woman. And much less biting than Lynley felt at the moment. "If you're not going to buy a button, why don't you stop bothering our lovely ministry employees." She growled.

Merlin.

People. It's why she hated people.

She let out a breath as if she was letting out the STEAM of her annoyance, and turned to face Emmalee. "And how are you? And the babies?" she asked in what was a VERY forced polite voice, her eyes still FLICKERING at the fellow.

Before the person he was truly speaking to could answer someone very rudely jumped in. Hadn't anyone taught them to mind their own business? Hmm, this was somewhat entertaining and since he had started this lame position as Ministry Liaison he hadn't been able to push any buttons. Today, that seemed to have changed and he grinned amused at the women. Three of them to be exact, he half wondered if their dates were syncing up and if he should have carried chocolate on him. "It's doesn't, since you were not the one this discussion was for, but thank you for your concern in the situation. If I have any questions on plants I'll come your way."

Turning back to the woman he was truly wanted to speak to, "Why just the ministry though, don't you feel the entire wizarding community should be made aware?" He was very curious by this, by all of it really. "Your community, are you a werewolf miss? He had her name, didn't he? He must have wrote it down, though he thought he might have just had the department heads name and he glanced in her direction just as the third woman spoke and his smirk became even more amused. He even chuckled a bit, "I'm Jorge and I am the Daily Prophet's Ministry Liaison is you didn't get that memo in your high and might department head position. So no, I am not silly for asking an honest question to write up a piece for the Daily Prophet to make all the community aware of what they are doing to help werewolves." So if she didn't mind she could go stick her nose in someone else's business.

Turning back to the woman he was going to be speaking to, "As you might have heard, I am wanting to do a story on this. With the raids that happened a few months ago, did that have anything to do with this?"
