That's what Hogwarts was for, wasn't it? Pushing and planning and preparing them for their futures! And Davie wanted a bright and successful future. He tilted his head a little at the professor's answer.
Right, depends on the department... some hands-on work... always a paper trail. Sigh. That seemed to be true of ANY adult job, he was starting to think. "Why did you say TOO much? You're not going to go BACK to work there, are you? Isn't Hogwarts LOADS better?" His blue eyes were big and wide now with worry about losing one of their BEST professors.
....Practice essay's over the summer? His look said all of what he thought about that. This truly was Truebridge's son. Essays, for fun? Sabel let out a breath, realizing he might later regret his advice.
"I think, you have plenty of summers ahead of you for that. Best to work on life experiences."
After all, one was only young once.
Sabel's eyebrow quirked at the questions. Perhaps this was one Detective Truebridge in the making?
"Too much, as in it's hard to stay away." In his blood, he swore. Still, he shook his head.
"But no, I'm not going back." Not officially anyways.
"Hogwarts is....much safer. If you can believe it."
He didn't think for one moment that any student at Hogwarts would fully embrace such a sentiment.
