"Uh huh!" he responded to the professor brightly. "I should probably start writing practice essays for uni over the summer, huh?" It wasn't too early to think ahead. That's what Hogwarts was for, wasn't it? Pushing and planning and preparing them for their futures! And Davie wanted a bright and successful future. He tilted his head a little at the professor's answer.

Right, depends on the department... some hands-on work... always a paper trail. Sigh. That seemed to be true of ANY adult job, he was starting to think. "Why did you say TOO much? You're not going to go BACK to work there, are you? Isn't Hogwarts LOADS better?" His blue eyes were big and wide now with worry about losing one of their BEST professors.
