Seeing this, he could rest easy that perhaps the kid wouldn't grow up to be quite like his uncle. Here was hoping, anyways.
He gave the kid a 'go-ahead' nod at the request for another question. And then, he nearly laughed. "The Ministry?" Dear Merlin that might have been the most difficult question all day.
Leaning back in his chair, Sabel tented his fingers under his chin. "It is....interesting. In both the good sense of the word and the bad." It was a bit of a cop-out response, but it covered all the bases. "You meet a lot of people, who are mentors and adversaries. It's....a challenge." What? Was the Ministry some grown-up punchline that Davie didn't fully understand? The place COULD be a joke for all he knew about it, but he did know that it was one of the largest employers in the entire Wizarding World. Maybe he could work there one day, who knew?
"Did you like it there?" he blinked up at the professor. The 'interesting' stuff was too generic a response for him. It was a real non-answer. "What's the day to day like? Boring? Is the whole building just paperwork an' office stuff?" Just curious. He wouldn't take up too much more of the professor's time with his extra questions.
