Blaise might have been quiet and focused as they walked their paces and bowed, but Davie was loose and limber and feeling confident. He wasn't OVERLY confident, since it wasn't like he was dueling for first place, but he was feeling alright. "Whoa!" David took a step to the side as a sudden spell came WHOOOOOOSHING past him. That was fast. Were they starting already then? Why did he think Blaise was going to be easy to beat?! "Cornflake skin spell, eh Blaise? I thought we were friends!"

That's right, David was going to try to distract him with a little talky talky while he cast his next spell in retaliation. "Incarcerous! You don't treat your friends to a breakfast of Frosted Skinflakes!"
