"I think this means we won't have any homework! Which is what you want to hear, right?" Not Davie, because he LIKED homework ~~most of the time~~. "Sixty-nine means... 'You will soon receive news that will benefit you.'" Lucky!

Davie took the cylinder next and shook it, per Tanner's instructions. Then he asked his question:

"Will I be going somewhere fun on vacation this year?" He gave the cylinder another shake, and then picked up stick 16 which fell out. Apparently, the interpretation was good for that too. "I think so! 'You will go on a sudden journey with an agreeable companion.' Sweet!" Maybe his BFF Charlotte was going to get to travel with them this year!!!!!!!!

Too bad Arithmancy didn't get to last longer. Just as soon as Davie had finished taking note of his interpretation, the bell rang, and the professor was dismissing them without homework. Awwwww, man! "Looks like your interpretation came true, partner!" he told the Slytherin with a grin as he packed up his things.

Then it was time to go, with a small, "Bye, Professor!" as Davie walked out the door.
