Time for the finals, and Paulina had to admit that she would be rather pleased when the whole thing was over with. She understood the importance of knowing dueling skills, but this was not her forte. She would much rather be in the greenhouses than flinging spells at a stranger and avoiding attacks.

Dressed in proper attire and wand in hand, she entered the room. "Good luck," she said to the girl named Evangeline before bowing to her.

Formalities aside...it was time to get fighting.

After taking a deep breath, Paulina raised her wand. This was her first time starting off a duel and she didn't feel very comfortable doing it since she didn't like violence and it felt to her that initiating a fight was different than defending oneself and trying to get out of a situation.

Here goes nothing.

Pointing her wand at Evangeline's face she verbally cast the ears to kumquats spell. She had never had a chance to try it out on someone, so this might be interesting.
