| Everyone! Dalliesa | Ab-Bot | Hogwarts Trojan War | Botros listened to Mr. Atreyu explain with the same disappointed face. The boy got one thing right, he couldn't have anticipated Rehman's punch. The Hufflepuff Prefect was not a violent boy. "Thanks for joining us professor," Ab addressed Flamsteed once he stepped in. "Mr. Atreyu here was in what appears to be a fist fight, except he was just a witness. He did not do anything that requires severe punishment from what we could tell." Pause. "However, it is disappointing to me to know that I have four of the well-behaving students be in such a disgraceful situation." The Slytherin girl started talking, obviously out of guilt, blaming herself for pretty much everything. Abraham listened politely as she recited the story, which to someone his age sounded like typical teenage angst. He would have called it cute if it didn't lead to fighting... and if he wasn't the headmaster of this school.
Even professor Moxley, who was a laughing happy woman, seemed angry. Botros gave her a nod and another sigh at the four of them. "Mr. Atreyu, Ms. Valke. I believe you know now how unacceptable it is to lose one's self-control and end up in a physical conflict. Not just here in school, but out there too. It usually leads to much drastic circumstance. However, since you're just witnesses to this situation, I would like you two to confide to your dorms for the rest of the day and reassess the story and see where you and your friends crossed the line that led to violence."
He turned his gaze to the other two Hufflepuffs. "As for you two," there was only one way to make this stick in their heads. "Detention every day after classes for the next three days. It should be longer, but I'm aware Mr. Rehman has NEWTs this year so we're going to be considerate." Because the boy wasn't a troublemaker in nature.
Now. "Everyone dismissed. See you in two hours in the dungeons." That was to the students and the Hufflepuffs. The professors and Mr. McLeon got a gentle nod from him. They could stay or leave, it depends on their schedules. |
