Well. Colt was the brave one, wasn't he? Look at that Gryffindor coming out in him! Meanwhile, Kate was trying to act all Ravenclaw and think things through first, but that was hard to do when it was the Chamber of Secrets they were talking about.

...and then--"AHHH!" she yelled out. Colt must have not picked up on the fact that she had grabbed a hold of his hand. He jumped into the dark tunnel, and she went sailing in after him. She barely had time to think about what had happened, when she landed on something gross and disgusting.

"Ew!" she shrieked, and jumped up. Where was Colt?! Was she down here alone?! Was she going to get eaten now?! She heard his voice and fumbled through the darkness until she was next to him. "I'm here! I'm here!" she said, starting to relax a little. She'd been down here before. She could do this.
