The warmth relaxing her a bit, her nerves and emotions had been getting the best of her lately.
Folding a chapter to start a new, she knew that well, it just never got any easier. "I think this will be a good chapter. There are many things ahead, but it is the change that I've never been truly good at. I like the knowing and comfort of the way things are." Though the death of her grandmother forced a very big comfort away. She couldn't help but smile with the little bit of tears at his kindness. "Thank you, it has been such a pleasure bringing the art to the school. I've so enjoyed my time here."
As he spoke of her SNACinators she felt her heart break a little thinking about how she didn't have a meeting this term. "I'm sorry we couldn't hold more this term, but things happening just made it impossible. I do feel bad for the students about that." She felt guilty for failing them this term.
Feeling his hand patting her arm she reached up and squeezed it gently. "I can always be reached if you need a tea reading or anything else. If you can't find me by owl or in my shop just ask Leo and he can let me know." She wouldn't be disappearing all together with him still the librarian. "Yeah..." he let out a little nostalgic sigh (even though their tea time hadn't passed yet). "We can always meet up somewhere else, though. I would definitely want to visit you at your grandmother's shop." Botros was interested in Divination as it was sort of overlapping with runes on so many occasions.
Aw yes, everyone was afraid of change. People's special ability was coping, though. He knew this much. "Absolutely. We won't let you go that easily," he beamed and took a sip from his cup. "Mmmm, those are fine tea leaves. The fumes alone are refreshing," he let them get into his face in a deep, nice silly sniff. Text Cut: The Trouble Quote:

Everything was not going right for him at this moment. Trouble seemed to always find its way back to them when they least expected it. This was no exception. Henric glanced over slightly towards llia and he couldn't help but feel worried for her the most. Professor Botros was addressing them now...and wanted to know what exactly happened before everything went haywire. Now that his nose was fixed, thanks to the very same person who had broken it in the first place...he would be able to talk properly now.
He raised up his hand and stepped forward,"Sir, it is all my fault. I am the one who provoked Adi into punching me in the face. He was upset with me...because...because I have not been a good friend lately," he admitted, already regretting his past deeds. "I didn't mean any of this to happen but things lead to the next...everything escalated so quickly...all I can say is...I-I am truly sorry, sir..." Please. Headmaster..spare his friends from the punishments. Quote:

The brunette had a reputation to uphold here and seeing as some of the kiddos under her watchful eye were a part of this mess, she couldn't help but feel like Botros-that adorable man, Merlin-was going to be disappointed in her. She didn't like that, not one bit.
Heading inside after getting word that something was up, the muggle studies professor caught the end of Henric's explanation and had to keep herself from snorting. Had no one ever heard of using their words?
Instead of voicing such opinions, she stood with her arms crossed and waited to hear Justin's take on things, as well as Botros's. Her time to speak would come and when it did, hopefully she'd be calmer than she was right now because currently Moxley was a little teapot, short and stout, and she was ready to blow her top. Quote:

He couldn’t even look at anyone, he was so ashamed of himself. So much for being a student leader. If Hadley got wind of this, what would she think of him?! Adi didn’t want to go there, honestly. She had put so much confidence in him and he just…
When they arrived at the Office, the Hufflepuff shuffled in to stand close to Benny. He wanted… no, needed… to be close to his boyfriend even though he knew that the Lion must be in shock from what he had just seen. In addition to Hadley, Henric, Ilia, Adi knew he had big time disappointed Benny.
And Botros. The seventh year could not stand the surprise laced in old man’s voice. He just remained silent still after McLeod had spoken to vaguely explain the situation and Botros had responded. He couldn’t meet the eyes of the man he had always thought of as Grandpa Botros since his first year so instead he fixated his bespectacled, brown eyes on the wall behind him.
But then Henric happened. He jerked his head towards the other Puff. Botros hadn’t addressed the questions to the students, had he? Adi didn’t want to speak out of turn but he couldn’t let Henric take the blame. Not when it was his own fault. “Professor Headmaster?’’ What? He was accustomed to calling the man that. Anyway, he finally looked the man in the eyes. “I lost control of my anger, the anger which I was keeping in because of how much Henric hurt Ilia. I am just as sorry for my behavior.’’ He cared about his Veela girl a lot but he was going to shut up now. He had spoken even though they hadn’t been given permission to. He would dwell on the fact that he was also shook up that he was capable of PUNCHING someone. Great Hippogriffs… what else was he capable of? The question sent Adi’s heart racing and he felt this great weight on his shoulders.
Out of the corner of his eyes during his thinking, Adi saw the plump figure of Moxley sidle in. The instant he saw her, he wanted to melt into the floor. It was not the expression on her face that made him want to do that but here was someone else to add to his ‘Persons he had Disappointed’ list. He fixated on the interesting wall behind Botros again, his hand closest to Benny reaching for the other boy’s pinky to hook discreetly with his. This was easy given the very close proximity to which he was to him. Please don’t pull away, Benny. This entire situation was killing him and he needed you. Quote:

Finally some explanation was given. His patience had been lacking lately, but in this case Justin was fine with letting them explain. "I was tending the grass along when I had heard shouting near the Treehouse. So naturally I climbed up to see what was going on just as Master Rehman punched Master Nicolei after shouting obscenities at him whilst Mr. Atreyu was with Miss Valke who was visibly upset." Then, "Before Master Nicolei could retaliate I sent a shield spell between them." As for the reason, well, the Hufflepuff students just explained. "Before we arrived, they could not share an exact reason, as these two including Miss Valke were insisting on taking all of the blame."
Now then, what was next? Finally noticing Moxley, their head of house. She didn't look anymore happier than him. Botros had his disappointed face on as the two Hufflepuffs explained... ish. Or fought to be blamed for this? He was confused but sort of glad they were finally acting like Huffies. He didn't reply to either, just kept his hands folded over his desk as he listened to Mr. Justin speak now.
"Needless to say," he started looking at the two Hufflepuff boys. "This is an unacceptable behaviour in our school, especially coming from a Prefect." Extra emphasize on that while looking at Mr. Rehman. "Even Mrs. Truebridge's portrait's upset," he pointed at the big portrait over his head with Annie's nose up in the air as she gave everyone a haughty look. The Slytherin and the Gryffindor didn't look like.. they were involved, physically involved. "You two," he gesture at them both kindly. "Do you have anything to say? Mr. Atreyu. Didn't you think of stopping the disgrace that was breaking out? I've known you to be a rational boy." He did. He taught the kid. The Slytherin was the one they were fighting over, right? Botros just sighed at all of this.
"I am utterly disappointed in everyone, especially Mr. Rehman and Mr. Nicolei. Professor Moxley?" She looked like she wanted to say something... or stomp her foot? |
