He might need to.. do some research on this, because scavenging sounded as if it were more up his alley. Zeke nodded to show his understanding, even if words weren't forming yet.
Adventure was on his list of 'likes', so staying put in one place didn't seem nearly as appealing... and then there was the issue of his mother. "Magical Law Enforcement?" he questioned instinctively. Yeah. That wasn't going to happen. "Do you know if it would be relevant to Accidents and Catastrophes? I'm also considering becoming an Obligator..." so it would be handy if those two skills could be integrated somehow. A book on Runic Wards though, that could work. "I'd really like that Professor, thank you." Ahhh, so he was not interested in the defensive side of it. "Hmm. I would say they use runic magic in Accidents & Catastrophes department but I wouldn't take my word for it. They definitely used it when I was in Egypt." There was a pause before he continued, "Oh? An Obliviator? That's very interesting. I believe they learn some blood magic in there, not quite sure though." He scratched his bald scalp thoughtfully. Some details started to escape him.
As for the book, Botros happily summoned a parchment and wrote down a couple of book titles with the authors for Mr. Browne. "Mr. Leobald can help you get those from the library. Don't take time from your study time to read them, though. That is not going to do you any good." Hmm? Okay. He handed him the parchment. Text Cut: Aw Cassie Quote:

I am never one to say no to tea, especially some of my grandmother's finest leaves."[b] She never went without the best in her shop. The thoughts of her shop and the smell of the scents all made Cassie bite her lip to control her emotions. "Ab, when I started here the signs and stars all pointed me to this direction. I have loved being here for the last five years. The students and staff have been nothing more then wonderful. I have found many new adventures, strengths, and very close friendships, but lately the stars are pointing to a knew direction. My place is outside of the school to focus on some personal things. My grandmother had willed me her shop and it was her wish for me to be the one to take it over." Her lip quivered a bit as she tried to get the words out.
Pulling her purse to her lap she opened it and pulled out a lavender scented pink parchment and handed it over to him. "This has been terrible hard to decide, but with the shop and some other things going on, this will be my last term here." She felt just awful saying it and fought back some tears. Tea it was then! Botros beamed and went to the four-wheel-tray with the tea set to make them some soothing tea. "Me neither. I would never turn down tea. I can say I've had every type of tea there ever was by this age," he chuckled as he brewed the leaves skillfully, using his wand to accelerate the process.
When Cassie talked about the signs and her stars, Ab was very intently listening. He'd been into Divination at one point of his life, he even lived next to one Seer back when he was a young father with his wife. The Seer was such an odd but kind woman, he could still remember the deep wrinkles on her face and how they accented her complexion and made it softer somehow. Back to Cassie, though. "Aww," he started, bringing two cup of tea back to where she was sitting and offering her one of them. They would brew more in the cup, no need to wait for the entire pot to brew.
He looked down at the pink parchment sadly and took it in his hand. It was her resignation. "That's... I understand that sometimes we're ready to fold this page of our life and start a new one, but it is sad still." He sighed and folded the parchment gently. "You've been a great Divination professor, your club brought back the art of Divination, I am only sorry I couldn't attend as much as I hoped to." He smiled a little and gave her arm a fatherly pat. Switching his shoes he continued to the statue before giving the password allowing them to follow inside too. "Headmaster Botros?" Justin spoke before, announcing his entrance. "I had just found these two individuals, Masters Rehman and Nicolei, fighting in the Treehouse, with Miss Valke and Master Atreyu witnessing." Still standing, the Groundskeeper allowed the four to appear. "I already informed their Head of Houses." Quote:

She failed. She had completely failed in anything but making a mess of things. Miserable, that about summed up how she felt. Her expression was stone cold and stoic, all of her angst and emotion was hidden beneath her porcelain doll face. She was shutting herself in again and reverting back to how she had been before she started here and got to know people. She didn't want to go back to Durmstrang or get shipped off to Beauxbatons and she feared that if her mother knew what had happened and why, that would be exactly what would happen.
She stood silently beside the groundskeeper, her blue eyes downcast to the floor and fixed there , with a blank expression. What would happen to her...them...now? Quote:

Some witness he'd be when he couldn't even get himself to speak...just shuffle up from the grounds with the other three to the 2nd floor office.
Merlin help him...and Adi. Botros was here. He was taking an unplanned nap on his armchair when Mr. McLeod opened the door startling him awake. His small glasses were quickly fixed onto his nose bridge. Hmm?
Hmmmmm?
The old man grabbed his cane and got from his armchair by the fireplace (yes, we know it was too hot for fire but not to him) and went to sit behind his big desk on the dais in the center. "Fighting? Mr. Rehman was fighting?" That sounded impossible. Botros knew the Hufflepuff since he was a little one, he was always the role model of his housemates. He looked at all four kids questionably, with faint knitted eyebrows. "Fighting how exactly? What for?" The questions were directed at the Groundskeeper for now. |
