Janelle smiled. "Not you favorite subject, huh" She could sympathize with Zeke on that one. History of Magic could be a tad........tedious at times. Learning about it in class was one thing, but trying to study it from a book was something else again. "I think Professor Glendower had the right idea. Acting out scenes from history made it more fun and easier to remember. Maybe you should take a little break and try again in a few minutes." That always worked for Janelle when her brain was just not absorbing the information.

Spaghetti, that's what Janelle decided she wanted to eat. When she had a steaming plate in front of her, she was happy. Taking her first bite, Janelle swallowed quickly so she could answer Zeke's question. "Me, oh I've been fine. You know, just trying to get my school work done and stay out of trouble." Janelle took another bite of her food, trying not to reveal just how hungry she was. "What about you? How have things been going?........besides studying for History of Magic that is."

Suddenly, Janelle began to laugh. It was random, but she just flashback to their "get to know you session" in Ancient Runes. It was funny, but she felt like she had gotten to know Zeke better in those few minutes than she knew most of her classmates after three years. Feeling the need to explain her outburst to Zeke, she said, "I'm sorry." "I was just remembering your impersonation of Professor Flamsteed and it made me laugh." His performance was truly stellar.
