Dot didn't know about the candy canes either? Which meant... this was not a planned event. She looked to the prefect, but before she could open her mouth and respond, she saw a glowing light approach them. It was a patronus, and as soon as it spoke, she recognised the voice of Leo.

But blinking and squinting Leo goggled, mouth gaping open, eyes as big as saucers in surprise. The PITCH WAS HEALEDDDDDD! The Gigantic hole was GONE! As in none existing! The ground was all FLAT and SHINY!

Still staring in surprise and equal alarm, mouth going dry he swallowed sharply as he didn't know what to think as he fumbled out his wand to send off some patronus messages. There was no way that Leo could make any sense of this on his own. He needed help!

Turning back to Dot, Beatrice cleared her throat and said "I'm going to go check on things." And then lowering her voice, she added, "Dot, can you keep everyone here distracted? I'm sure it's nothing to worry about."
