| ½ EagleBrain ♥ Creeperdoodle ♥ Raven Dor ♥ Berry ♥ ½ Team House Elf SPOILER!!: HM Botros![QUOTE=Magical Soul;11823101 "Good question," Botros smiled at the Gryffindor. "If you specialize in scavenging for ancient scripts and runes, it'll be your job to find new ones. You'll be traveling all the time, the world is a very big place for muggles, it's even bigger for us with magical portals that sometimes lead to places we can't locate on maps. I don't see how we can run out of sites to inspect." That was one thing.
"However, you can choose to stay in one place and work with the law enforcement department there, or any other department that needs a constant secured environment. IN which case, you'll specialize in Wards. Either way, you have to take the runes OWLs and NEWTs, and I think you can do it." Definitely. "I can recommend you a book to read from the library about runic wards. It's just an introduction and you might find it difficult at this stage, but it'll help you decide." [/QUOTE]
Mind-blowing.
He hadn't even considered how big the world was to wizarding folk in comparison to muggles. Somehow the world seemed like a small place to him, and it was old and ageing, years passed one after the other, and he didn't think there could be all that much left to find. Until now. Portals. He might need to.. do some research on this, because scavenging sounded as if it were more up his alley. Zeke nodded to show his understanding, even if words weren't forming yet.
Adventure was on his list of 'likes', so staying put in one place didn't seem nearly as appealing... and then there was the issue of his mother. "Magical Law Enforcement?" he questioned instinctively. Yeah. That wasn't going to happen. "Do you know if it would be relevant to Accidents and Catastrophes? I'm also considering becoming an Obligator..." so it would be handy if those two skills could be integrated somehow. A book on Runic Wards though, that could work. "I'd really like that Professor, thank you."
