She raised an eyebrow right back at him as he boldly reached out to touch her fur. But not her. It still hadn't occurred to Tori that Paulie could be the secret admirer.

Oh, he wasn't ALLOWED to touch her furry garment? His hand got swatted away, huh? But when SHE touched his sweater, Paulie allowed that. Bigger person and all that. ~~Okay maybe he just liked the touching so what.~~

"I was lookin' out for ya! Saw some tall, dark, an' handsome guy over here by this tree who was spyin' on YOU, so I pushed him in the pond and he never came out." Now THAT.... was an utter and complete fib. Quick thinking, though. Yes, he'd spin this just a little longer.

"Ya should be thankin' me, really."
