"Ab really maybe you should allow the elves to go that high for you. We don't need our headmaster to slip and fall." She hoped she wasn't stepping over her limit to state her concern.

Her eyes went to where his crup usually was and she smiled loving animals the way she did. Finding a seat she waited for him to come down and sit in his chair as well. Her fingers fidgeting with her bag feeling many emotions that she had for a few weeks now. Her eyes were on the fireplace as she felt the warm and cozy feeling from it. Loving to curl up next to them since she was a child the heat never bothered her.

"I've been better. It's been a roller coaster since my grandmother had become ill and left us a month ago." She knew they all knew what had happened so it wasn't any secret to say. "I'm afraid I do need to speak with you with something that has been on my mind."

Though first happy things and she pulled out the little box and handed it over to him. "It's a variety of tea leaves that are always sold in my grandmother's shop. I couldn't help but to grab a few when I was doing some inventory there. I jut thought they'd be perfect for you."
Botros chuckled, patting her hand, "Oh don't worry about it, I can't have the elves do all the work for me." She sounded just like his overly concerned daughters. He wasn't going to sit back and live in his comfort zone for the rest of his life, that was like giving up to old age and not living life. He was touched by her concern, though.

Anyway! Over to why she decided to visit him today. Botros nodded solemnly. "Of course. My condolences." Again. He accepted the tea leaves happily, "Thank you very much, oh they smell beautifully." He took a big whiff. "Would you like to try them with me now?" Hmm? Oh wait, she needed to talk to him about something that was obviously important. He sat still. "How can I help you?" Ready to listen.

And what the Headmaster said not only made sense, but it had him thinking of one of his earlier questions - one that he'd asked himself when the idea of Curse Breaking had presented itself. "That's another thing I wondered about. I mean, whether I could do the job is one thing, but because Curse Breaking mostly works around ancient sites, what would my prospects be in terms of job opportunities and security? Would it not get to the point where the work would run out as sites are excavated and cleared of value?" Because really, there was only so much gold and value in the world, he couldn't see it lasting forever, and he had to think of himself in all of this. Was there a modern application of the skills? Something he hadn't heard or thought of?

And blood magic. THAT stuff, was truly fascinating, he wouldn't lie. So with more nodding he communicated his understanding and respect for the field of study. Super dangerous... but also super cool. Not that he'd say THAT out loud, but it was true.

When Botros questioned his interest, he didn't at all feel as if he was being interrogated, they were two men having a chat. Mmhhmm. He was convinced of this, so he spoke freely. Of course, it helped when he had nothing to hide. "Not really, I mean it is interesting, and at this stage I just want to have a better sense of what I know, and what I need to know... if that makes sense?" Did it? He wasn't sure. "Do you think this is something I could do, Headmaster?" he asked, curious for the man's assessment. "Do you think I could study Ancient Runes at OWL and NEWT level?"

"Good question," Botros smiled at the Gryffindor. "If you specialize in scavenging for ancient scripts and runes, it'll be your job to find new ones. You'll be traveling all the time, the world is a very big place for muggles, it's even bigger for us with magical portals that sometimes lead to places we can't locate on maps. I don't see how we can run out of sites to inspect." That was one thing.

"However, you can choose to stay in one place and work with the law enforcement department there, or any other department that needs a constant secured environment. IN which case, you'll specialize in Wards. Either way, you have to take the runes OWLs and NEWTs, and I think you can do it." Definitely. "I can recommend you a book to read from the library about runic wards. It's just an introduction and you might find it difficult at this stage, but it'll help you decide."
