Ben wasn't anywhere close to being aware of Adi's attention on anything other than focusing to keep him upright and in the air. He didn't want the other boy to be concerned about anything else because then the likelyhood of being dropped was more likely and the GRyffindor was keeping a brave face that everything was going to go well. That he was secure while he worked high up off the ground and didn't have to worry about anything else other then helping the poor tree.

However he had expected Adi to lower him down so they could switch places instead of moving to another spot on the tree they were working with. A sudden move that brought him face to face to local fauna, in this case bugs infesting the tree. One nearly flew directly at him in reaction to his presence in their vicinity. "Hey...I thought we were taking turns," he managed to call down once he had recovered from the surprise, shaking his head as he's put to work again.

Now what to do with bugs?

He couldn't think of anything but just getting them out. They weren't supposed to just kill them....right? At least there weren't any spiders around because THOSE he'd definitely kill...or make Adi kill. "Okay all you bugs...GET!" he instructed as he started picking them out of their current habitat with his gloved hands, swiping at any that flew near him.
