"Aguamenti." Oliver aimed as best as he could toward the tree closest to him. The jet of water hit its mark and, even though the tree was not in the ground, the water clung to the tree. So that was how it got watered. It was weird, but pretty cool. He watched it happen again and again as the other students did it. Those trees were getting a lot of water. But they were big, so that was probably okay.

Then there were some questions, and Oliver actually considered them. He could not think of any drawback of growing trees in soil. That was where trees were supposed to be grown, so why would there be anything bad about it? Unless it was bad soil or something, but then the tree would not have grown at all. As for growing the trees in the air, what if you bumped your head on them? He listened to what other people said and thought they had some pretty good answers but before he could raise his hand, the professor was moving on.

The trees were sick? That was too bad. Did they need to go to a plant doctor? Was that even a thing? Was that kind of what professor Myers was. Wait, not. That's what they had to be. Olly shrugged and glanced around for a partner. He really wanted to be lifted into the air.
