Aww, Char was being SO NICE to the hat! Surely s/he would just cooperate and move her to the correct house now. He nodded along with what she was saying, adding helpfully, "I'm Davie, and I need my BFF in Ravenclaw, because she's the only BFF I have and plus HER mum and dad were Ravenclaws and I'm the first in my family and it's kinda weird but it's where she belongs, really. She belongs with me."

Gryffindors were too LOUD and ABRASIVE for his ~~pretty~~ dainty, but awesome, BFF.
