She took the hat down and held it between herself and Davie so they could SEE the hat EYE TO EYE (Those scrunchy bits WERE eyes, right?).

"The thing is, you put me in the wrong house, just like I told you when you were on my head! Its the wrong one. I was supposed to be with Davie, see?" DID THE HAT UNDERSTAND? She continued to explain in earnest. "So... you have to fix it now okay? Tell everyone you made a mistake and that actually I'm supposed to be in Ravenclaw!"
