Simon watched as the other man stood up and offered his hand to him, the auror turned security man accepting it and giving a polite shake. "Nice to meet you, Mr. Ashworth," he said with a nod of acceptance. "I'm Simon Bennett, the acting head of Security," he introduced, deciding not to include that it was such a new position for him. The better to give his companion a sense of stability within the division and not be concerned about the leadership. Too much. The whole acting part did enough.
"I see you've dived into the paperwork," he mused, having noted the papers that were placed in the outbox on the man's desk. "Was there any questions you had?" They could start with that part of the job for the first day.
