No what was amazing was that this Daxton kid was still yanking at the sash. "Oi, quit it!" he attempted at a whisper, but the anger in his voice didn't really allow for any room to keep quiet.

Honestly Zander was glad that the walk over to the Defense room wasn't a long one. Didn't know how much longer he could walk next to Daxton without wanting to rip the sash off of his own wrist. Except, it wasn't like the obstacle course would be any better. Actually, Zander had a feeling that this would be much more.

The Gryffindor turned to give Daxton a look, hoping the boy was ready to get this over with. The faster they went the sooner they got it. Which is why Zander didn't even hesitate before taking steps forward towards the course.

... Daxton was gonna come, right? Because Zander still had no intention to wait. The faster they went the faster it'd be over. Fast. They had to do this quickly. That was going to be the strategy.
