"Knew you would have said no, anyway.'' He just thought he would ask, being such a polite guy and all. Your loss, Brooklyn.

Was that sarcasm? He wasn't sure but it didn't stop him from grinning. "No problem! Don't forget about me when you're rich or famous.'' Hehe! Adi wouldn't forget about her either when he was both. Oh, no... there went his stomach's cry to be fed! Ugh! He had better get moving to the Great Hall. "If you're sure you don't want to head down to breakfast with me...'' Adi stepped away from the rail. "I'll see you around, Brooklyn. It was nice chatting with you.'' He meant that. He did like the Snakette, after all. With another grin, he took off.

Breakfast, here he came!

It was definitely getting warmer on the balcony. Brooklyn was almost glad she’d retreated to the shade, along with the fact the annoying stomach noise shad thankfully stopped coming from the Hufflepuff she was unfortunately sharing said balcony with. The Hufflepuff who had honestly surprised her with how easily he had taken her refusal to have breakfast with him. It wasn’t as if she didn’t want breakfast. She just didn’t feel like spending it with Adi and his incessant and strange cheerfulness. But the fact he’d bothered to ask if he’d known she was going to say no just seemed like a waste of time. Both his and hers.

She’d rolled her eyes at his response to her other comments, too. Either he didn’t understand sarcasm or he was just way too cheerful to actually feel like dealing with it. Kind of irritating too. “I wouldn’t worry about that,” she replied. She’d remember him just to remind herself to avoid dealing with him, or people like him. She could be positive enough for herself, without it getting to an annoying level. In fact, she was very positive when it came to her own goals. Plus, there went the sounds again, and she’d eyed him for a few seconds before he’d made his retreat. “I guess so.” It seemed like it was unavoidable, especially since she was going to end up down at the Great Hall soon enough getting her own breakfast. She just made sure to wait enough time so it wouldn’t look like she was following him.
