The hitting of the drumsticks against the hollow instrument slowed at the sound of approaching footsteps. He could see his quill floating just a tad closer to the door in anticipation for what or rather who might be coming along.

Of course he returned her grin, glad for the company regardless of his current drumming skill. "Is that a new guitar?" He asked, leaning curiously over the drum set to get a better look. It LOOKED new.
"When'd you get it?"
Noelle started strumming on her guitar, to the beat of his drumming. It was basic and that's all she knew but it sounded good and she was using her NEW guitar!
Noelle looked over at Blaise as he asked if it was new. Noelles faces beamed in answer.

Yes! My daddy just owled it to me! I've been waiting forever for it. He plays guitar and had been teaching me before I do me to Hogwarts. Do you like it? Look how shiny it is!" Noelle blurted and babbled on. It was her excitement.
