dream until your • dreams come true ~ Human pygmy puff

As Professor Culloden began to add notes to the blackboard, Janelle copied them. She paid special attention to the potion instructions because she didn't want to leave out anything. When her notes were up to date, she set down her quill and began to clean her equipment. Taking out her gloves, knife, teaspoon, bowl, mortar and pestle, she began to Scourgify. When that was done, Janelle cleaned her cauldron and was ready to begin.

Janelle put on her gloves and reached for her sneezewort flowers and began to separate the petals. "He loves me, he loves me not........NOT." Of course she was kidding. Janelle had made herself perfectly clear with her "people in love act stupid" quote. She was definitely kidding. Once she had separated the petals times eight, Janelle checked her notes. Next came the alihotsy. Grabbing her eight leaves and her knife, she began to chop. It didn't say how fine the leaves should be chopped so Janelle just gave it her best guess. When the leaves looked good to her, she put them aside.

Janelle moved her mortar and pestle closer to her. Then she added the moonstone and began to crush it. This was really good therapy. Not that she was angry or anything, but it was good to know.......just in case. If you were angry, crushing something might make you feel better. Once the moonstone was properly powdered, Janelle picked up her teaspoon. She measured eight teaspoons of moonstone powder and placed it all in her bowl.

Taking out her wand, Janelle pointed it at her cauldron and said, "Aguamenti". She let the water flow until her cauldron was sufficiently filled. Then she retrieved her plucked petals and placed them in the water. While she waited for the next instructions. Janelle cleaned all of her dirty equipment. While she had time to wait, Janelle wondered what was up with all of the 8's in the ingredients list. Was there some significance to the number eight and love potions. She'd have to investigate that further. Eight, an infinity sign turned on it's side. Eight.....infinity....love......was there a connection?
