The hitting of the drumsticks against the hollow instrument slowed at the sound of approaching footsteps. He could see his quill floating just a tad closer to the door in anticipation for what or rather who might be coming along.

Of course he returned her grin, glad for the company regardless of his current drumming skill. "Is that a new guitar?" He asked, leaning curiously over the drum set to get a better look. It LOOKED new.
