be curious, not judgmental The Friar "did" like eating. Sad that he said that and then changed to "did," but Soph almost raised her hand again to protest that he still could eat rotten food, so would that ever have an affect on his physical appearance... but then decided against it.
She'd just been trying to tell the poor guy that she didn't like that nickname for him. Didn't seem right to keep pushing the subject, especially since he'd been so kind to answer her in the first place. She'd leave it at that, then.
As the Grey Lady launched into her story, Soph leaned forward a bit with interest, hanging onto every word. Since when did the woman EVER talk about what happened? Never, probably. Of course, Soph knew just about everything the woman said already from word-of-mouth and history books, but it was pretty cool for Helena to tell the story herself. Monumental, really.
It got a little weird when the Baron arrived, though, just in time to hear the end of what Helena was saying. Haha. Awkward, right? Soph looked between the two with interest, also absorbing the questions of Davie, Olly, and Angel, and considering what the ghost's response would be. They were curious enough questions, so Soph didn't have anything more to add.
