She knew it wasn't needed to be agreed upon. The girls would be partners for this activity. If anyone could be trusted right then to not harm her it was Brooklyn. "Mind if I get us started?" The question was spoken flatly as she fingers the smooth wood of her wand her fingers moving to grip it tightly in her hand then. Right now she just wanted to get this over with. The memory was to clear in her mind and what was needed to block it out there wasn't time for. That being, she only had one choice. Move forward.

Hady took several large steps backwards as she got herself a safe distance away. There would be no messing this up. No injuries. Taking in a breath only to let it out slowly she raised her wand when she saw Brooklyn was ready. There was a line to the side and a forwards flick from her wand, "Persequoris!"

As the green light from the tip of her wand shot towards the other Slytherin girl Hady almost wanted to look away. She knew it wasn't what it was intended to look like but with the memory on her mind it was a bit nerve rattling.

Feeling eyes on her, Brooklyn had glanced back once to see Professor Dakest watching her, as if he expected her to break down. She wasn’t planning on breaking down any time soon, not in what was basically a public place. There might be some Tywin cuddling later, but she knew she’d get over what she’d seen. She was already resolved to, whether or not she forgot it entirely. Part of her didn’t want to forget it, since it was information she could use. Information she had a sneaking suspicion most people never learned. Either way, she’d turned back toward Hady in time to lock eyes with her, watching as the other girl had even walked closer to meet her.

That saved time, anyway, which was good as she heard the professor speak again, dismissing the class but letting them finish up what they were doing. That worked for her, and she’d nodded as Hady had offered to go first. Staying where she was, she got her wand ready again, just in case she felt like casting a counterspell. She kept her eyes on her housemate either way, watching the now familiar movement for the homing spell. Now she could tell the difference, anyhow. Not that she expected the actual killing curse. Even she wouldn’t have done that, had it even been an option. As it was, she gave up on trying to think of a proper spell to block the green light coming for her, and instead, she dodged to the side to duck behind a bench, tipping it over to let the wooden seat collide with the spell instead.

Standing back up, she called over to Hady. “Ready?” They didn’t really have a lot of time, after all, since class was technically over. She still waited for her partner to get ready before she traced out the line and then flicked her wand forward. “Persequoris!,” she cast, taking a step back almost involuntarily as a green light shot from her wand and headed for the other girl. Okay, that was a little bit too good of a simulation.
