So they get to choose whether they wanted to stay here to view Killing curse memory or leave with the younger students. Stay of course. Her brother and uncle probably wouldn't be too happy when they heard about this but then again this world wasn't filled with sunshine, rainbow and unicorn. There's some ugly things in this world and she need to see it. She didn't want to hide behind her brother and uncle anymore. Like her father said she's not a baby anymore.

When some of the students who stayed to view the Killing Curse memory gave the Professor insight about Killing Curse, Candice decided to stay silent because everyone already said what she wanted to say. So no need to repeat it again.

Then Dakest explained to them the best way to defend themselves from the Killing Curse. Shared wand cores, that's a lucky bet. Using other spell to intercept and hit the killing curse. But the Professor said its a bit risky. Okay. And the last one was dodging, or blocking the curse with a physical barrier. Physical barrier. Riiiiight. She'd remembered that.

Its pensieve time.

She wanted to see what's in the pensieve. How bad its. She just wanted to know. So the Gryffindor walked over to the pensieve. She took a deep breath before she ducked her head into the pensieve.

First thing she noticed was she's not in the classroom anymore. Where was she? It look like an aisle but she didn't recognize it the aisle she's in. She couldn't see clearly. She can only see her hands, he wands, the floor beneath her feet and some closer plant leaves. Other things were just foggy. Then there's a shadow. A person? She couldn't tell if the person was a he or a she. She heard a voice. Not a very clear voice. She didn't know what it said. Then suddenly the figure was casting a silent spell. The first a zap of light and the second was an eerie emerald green spell. Killing Curse. Then after that its just CHAOS everywhere. She could feel the fear. The adrenaline pumping. But there's nothing she could do. Its just a memory but it feel SO real.

Then all too quickly she was back into the classroom where she was safe and sound. No foggy background. No plants. No foggy figure. Just her, her classmate and Professor Dakest.

SIGH.

She walked away. FAR AWAY from the pensieve.

Partner. Yes. She need that. When Candice finally managed to control her breathing, she looked around the room to find someone who still partnerless like her. It look like Nicolei still couldn't find a partner. She walked toward the Hufflepuff. "Hey, let's partner up."
