It was a good question. One that Evie had though of multiple times as she prepared for dueling club. Many good answers had already been given, but they still held the same problem. The spells they cast would still have to have good aim to hit their target, which was the problem in the first case. As she formed an answer in her head, the snitches flying above their heads were near forgotten in her mind. She was focused completely on dueling club.
"Distractions help," Evie said after raising her hand. "You can use magic to alter the environment or the area around you to cause your opponent to get distracted. People are slower when they're distracted, and thus easier to hit with spells." That was her own personal favorite method of attack, in case Dakest hadn't noticed in her last duel. |
