Jet had to blink several times to get used to the light again. She blinked again when the Grey Lady spoke to her. "I do." She answered, shifting on her seat once the professor moved on to talk to someone else.

The fifth year remained quiet as the class started and the first question was asked. What an awkward situation. Jet wondered how the professor would react if people started being too blunt about why a person came back as a ghost. In her opinion, it was simply because of fear of the unknown. Fear of what they would or would not find on the other side of death. Ghosts were people who deserved their pity, maybe? Helena Ravenclaw would not be happy with that answer. Jet wouldn't, were she a ghost.

Since people had already said what Jet was thinking - in a nicer, less blunt way - she chose to continue to be quiet.
