He had been about to complete the spell CORRECTLY, when they received their next instructions, and a demonstration.
There were some things he liked about this, but some things he didn't.
Pro's
1. Dragons were awesome.
2. Obstacle courses were awesome.
3. New spell to conjure rope circles! was awesome.
Con's
1. He already knew how to conjure and control dragons...
So technically, he was only learning ONE skill today, and it didn't even seem to be the emphasis of the lesson. Control? Was the emphasis of the lesson?
Nevertheless, he needed to complete the other activity before he could even think to attempt this one.
Wand in hand, and worm in front of him, Zeke pointed the Larch tip at his target and flicked it up while clearly stating, "Flintifors."
No kaboom.
No smoke.
SUCCESS.
He had a matchbox.
